Part 1. Introductions~

Edit Posted by with No comments
Japan is that tiny, banana-shaped island home to many contrasting districts (an area of a country/city distinguished or characterized by a particular feature or activity).
As this is my first article on my new blog, i thought i would start by not only trying to get proper punctuation and grammar, but just writing what this blog is about (pa.2), who i am (pa.1), and what the future holds (because im psychic)

First things first, my R is playing up so this is a little tricky for me, however, my name is Jadzia (aka.Midnight/Mayonaka) -HELLO- and i run a large amount of blogs, pages and social media thingy-ma-bobs on Japanese culture and music. I study German and English Language at University and self teach myself Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, graphic design, art and design, and keyboard. I am the type of girl who cannot make up her mind or decide on anything! However (however is my favourite word to use-so be warned), since my earliest memories, i have ALWAYS loved and studied 2 things; Music and Asian Culture. I have to admit, it may be a little bit of an obsession, and occasionally, its grown into something a little crazy. Asian and Japanese culture has evolved into an escape for me so i obviously i wish to move there after raising sufficient funds, and getting a good enough education (though we NEVER stop leaning).

I always introduce myself as being 'an aspiring Japanologist' and if you dont know what a "Japanologist" is; its mainly an individual who is a some-what "expert" on all things Japanese -like the name suggests-. I first heard this term on the NHK program, begin JAPANOLOGY, hosted by one of my newest idols-Peter Barakan- who also happens to be British. On the show, Peter pretty much picks a certain subject in Japanese culture and explains every tiny aspect of that subject! It maaaaay sound a tad bit boring to anyone who hates documentaries, but i seriously suggest watching at least one episode on Sky TV or any network which has the channel 'NHK World'. This program pretty much inspired me to start my own "program" discussing and explaining my take on Japan as a British student.

I do plan on making these articles on a 'once-a-week' schedule and i may include a few articles on recent music concerts that i'm attending, recent musical addictions and whatever else. Even though i may have to  alter the schedule once in a while to fit with my school and lifestyle,i hope i don't become repetitive and that my articles are either interesting or provide you with some new information.

Thats all for now!
I am busy on my "first" article and plan on posting it next Friday night.

Sayonara!!!

Please also note that i will start lessons in Japanese/German on this blog and am very open to all questions. I would also prefer being called Midnight instead of my Polish name (im british); Jadzia. Thank you :)
